The position of Account Manager is a home-based position, so all work is currently done remotely, however, there may be a requirement for national travel in the near future.

As an experienced Account/Client Relationship Manager, you will play an instrumental part in driving profitability, identifying new business development opportunities within your portfolio, and growing business relationships to maximise the potential of our core account base.
You will be responsible for providing specialist advice & expertise on apprenticeship programmes to optimise Apprenticeship levy spends for the client, You will become the clients 'ambassador' for apprenticeships for the insurance and financial services sector.
Main duties and responsibilities of the Account Manager
Define your key accounts annual training strategies in-line with operations Be responsible for the day to day running of the company's key accounts Targeted upselling in-line with the company's growth strategy Monthly face to face performance review presentations at board level Identifying new areas of revenue within your portfolio Maintain detailed records of client contacts & maintains detailed Client MI, whilst adhering to processes & regulatory requirements. Provide expertise to embed & grow apprenticeship programmes as a key pillar of the client's learning and development strategy. Consult with clients to develop & implement programmes that integrate with & complement their L&D objectives. Conduct regular account reviews & highly responsive to client queries Develop and maintain strong internal relationships across all functions & levels to deliver to client needs and the agreed programme KPIs. Ensure all programmes are delivered to set quality measures & client KPIs.
Skills and Experience Required for the Account Manager
Extensive experience working as an Account/Sales Manager within the Work-Based Learning or Skills sector Excellent knowledge and experience with managing levy and non-levy clients Up to date knowledge of Apprenticeships standards, funding, and government training programs Detailed understanding of the range & levels of Insurance and Financial Services qualifications Experience in learning & development & design of client learning solutions Proven track record in exceeding sales targets and customer expectations Excellent IT skills, including all Microsoft office packages especially PowerPoint & Excel Experience in budget management Full UK Driving license
