A brilliant growing SME is looking for 2 new qualified or part qualified professionals to take up 2 roles within their growing customer accounts and finance team! What are we looking for exactly?
A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an accounting practice
: preferably qualified accountant or studying towards accounting qualifications
Microsoft Office Excel skills at the advanced level
Knowledge of personal and business tax for sole traders
Experience of preparation of self-assessment Tax return
Experience of preparation of Flat rate VAT return
Knowledge of Construction Industry Scheme
Good phone experience / customer communication.
Dealing with numerous clients by phone and emails to collect necessary information for Tax return
Preparation of Self-assessment
Preparation of client`s Tax report using Sage Personal Tax
Explaining Self-Assessment tax computation to clients by email or over the phone
Resolving queries relating to Tax affairs
Deal directly with HMRC on clients behalf
Client`s account reconciliation
Provide accounting support to customer service team
Skills & Proficiencies:
Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Consistently produce accurate and high-quality work both individually and as part of a wider team
Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
