Are you an administrator with excellent organisation, web editing/IT skills, and experience of managing events?
The School of Social Sciences, History and Philosophy is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Administrator with good organisational and event management skills to support the academic activities of the Department of Politics.
In order to be successful in this role you will have excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work flexibly and supportively as part of a team. Experience of organising events and website and social media management are also required. You will have a good knowledge and understanding of administrative systems and office work, be numerate with excellent IT skills, including MS Office, Word and Excel and database packages, and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy in detailed work. Experience of working in the education environment will be an advantage.
This is a part time post, working 24.5 hours per week (0.7 FTE), and will initially be for 12 months in the first instance.
Grade 4 of the College’s London Pay Scale which is £26,209 rising to £29,732 per annum (pro rata).
The salary quoted will be pro-rata for this part time post and is on the College’s London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
