An excellent opportunity has become available for a temporary Assistant Accountant to join a market leading business who are currently going through a period of continued growth.
Assistant Accountant – About the Role
As the Assistant Accountant you will:
Carry out supplier reconciliation's and ensure they are performed within the set deadlines
Posting and reconciling general ledger postings
Ensure transactions recorded on the system are properly authorised and coded
Preparing monthly bank reconciliation's and financial transactions reporting
Month end accruals
Prepare journals
Assist with Audits
Other ad hoc duties as required
The successful Assistant Accountant will have:
Excellent communication and team working skills with an approachable, motivated and proactive attitude
Proven track record of the duties above
Proficient with Microsoft Office including strong Excel skills essential
Ability to work to deadlines, together with an organised and methodical approach to work
A confident and professional manner, with the ability to build strong relationships
Flexibility and an ability to prioritise essential
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
