Responsibilities – Broking Technician (Retail Broking Team), (London, UK)

Aon are currently recruiting for a Broking Technician to join our Retail Broking Team based at our London office.
The purpose of this role is to fully support the end to end broking process and provide full operational support to broking/client teams. To proactively assist in the day to day running of client’s risks and insurance programmes and support any change of process and practices (particularly technology changes – Brokasure).

About the Role
Your impact as a Broking Technician:
Slip and Endorsement Development – ‘Ownership’ of this core contractual documentation. Updating the slip in Brokasure as per the requirements of the client, working on the document with the Broker and the client service team to finalise.
Information Management – Maximising use of our data through benchmarking, analysis and reporting. Becoming an expert in our internal reporting tool, producing reports as per the requirements of the business.
Structured Portfolio Solutions – Supporting revenue growth through maximising utilisation of our products/facilities
Data Review – Reviewing and positioning renewal data to maximise broking results
Technology Developments – Working as part of a group reviewing efficient practices and interaction with markets
Broking Support – Assisting the brokers with the placements of risks and the finalisation of the contractual documentation.
Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
