This role provides professional claims expertise within the Financial Lines Claims Team who service our clients on specialist Professional Indemnity Claims.
This role will also provide vital support on Coinsurance claims to the whole of the UK claims team, support client managers and brokers, essentially in the construction field. This is a specialized role in an area where claim volumes are rising specifically in response to challenges in the construction industry as a result of Grenfell Tower. Market changes are also driving an increased volume of non-conventional client placements which has created a need for specialist handlers able to operate in the London Market.

About the Role
Your impact as a Claims Specialist:
Managing a portfolio of Construction Professional Indemnity Claims specifically in the London Market.
High value service delivery to provide claims management, support and guidance to clients.
Dealing with cases in line with FCA guidelines; relevant pre-action protocols and managing cases within the London Market Insurance Bureau.
Maintaining and reviewing appropriate claims reserves.
Establishing relevant coverage certainty and providing technical claims support in the presentation and management of clients’ claims.
Providing expert advice, technical analysis and support to clients to facilitate the settlement of claims.
Liaising with a variety of stakeholders and establishing and maintaining key client contacts.
Establishing and maintaining electronic claim files; process claims information and co-ordinate internal claims-related activities.
Development of relationships with key clients
Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
