We work collaboratively to guide, support and challenge on all risk related matters, and we’re responsible for the successful delivery of the risk agenda against internal and regulatory requirements. This role represents an opportunity for a highly motivated Risk professional to work at the heart of Group Transformation business

What you’ll be doing…

• You’ll support the provision of insightful, high quality analysis, advice and guidance on Cloud Risk supporting the Group’s cloud strategy execution.
• You’ll specifically support development of the strategic risk position associated Cloud Services and partnership model and the key concepts such as ever-greening, exit strategies and portability, and ensure that supporting governance & controls operate effectively.
• You’ll work collaboratively with Sourcing and Technology businesses to ensure the right risk management and control response to key challenges such as these for the best outcome for the Group and our customers.

Key accountabilities…

• Support in understanding the risks associated with the Cloud to ensure the best outcome for the Group, our Resilience and our customers
• Reporting on risks associated with Cloud services and partnerships, making use of your risk management skills and Cloud knowledge to support the business in understanding the appropriate control response
• Prepare and interpret risk management reporting, with insight and information from multiple sources, to senior partners to support decisions
• Act as a point of contact for Cloud Risk, delivering consultancy services within COO Business Risk, Technology and to our Group.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of risk assessments to senior partners.
• Proactively lead, develop and maintain intra-group relationships across the Three Lines of Defence, e.g. Group Risk, Group Audit, to optimise results in areas of common interest

Are you an self-motivated with a valid record of identifying, organising, leading, and controlling the risks and passionate about delivering top class services to customers? If yes, we value the following

And the skills/background you’d possess…

• Practical risk experience with good knowledge of consumption of Cloud services, partnership models, supplier management
• An active interest in building knowledge of regulation relating to third party and outsource arrangements
• A strong ability to deliver high quality outputs, articulating technical risks/issues in a clear and concise business language for use at senior executive level or by external parties (e.g. Regulators, Risk Committees).
• Hold working understanding of banking and industry standards, control frameworks and key Cloud risks financial institutions face.
• Technical background with knowledge of Cloud service provider model and control assessment experience
