This position will aid the College of Dentistry in ensuring the accuracy of medical and dental billing in order to comply with government and commercial payer regulations. The person in this position will perform professional billing and coding from provider documentation to ensure complete and accurate coding and modifier application. Ensure adherence to all regulatory billing and coding guidelines. Supports the institution’s clinical mission and goals to maximize revenue and be in compliance with billing procedures in a timely manner through more efficient and effective coding practices across departments.
