Job Summary:

Our client, a dynamic UK start-up, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join their Finance Team as an Inventory Accountant. 

In this role, you will be responsible for the full end to end cycle of inventory beginning at purchase planning, through to sale and after-sale care.

Applicants must be ACCA/CIMA qualified! 

The Role:

• Managing the whole inventory process from initial purchase through to final sale or disposal of inventory
• Reviewing sales costs on a weekly basis and identifying discrepancies
• Attending and carrying out quarterly stocktakes at refurb locations
• Managing inventory costs by validating variable and fixed costs
• Monitoring and reviewing stocking loans
• Reconciling inventory from AMS to the general ledger
• Performing month-end processes and reconciliations
• Supporting the annual audit process

 The Person:

• Qualified ACCA/CIMA
• Excellent excel skills
• Self-starter
• Excellent interpersonal skills to help build strong relationships with all stakeholders
• Excellent communicator
• Strong analytical skills and ability to convey financial information simply and coherently
• A resourceful problem solver who loves a challenge and can work under pressure
• Experience of working in a dynamic and changing environment
