Who You Are / Your Next Challenge
We are searching for a collaborative and commercially astute Data Protection Manager (DPM) to join our vibrant Group Risk and Compliance (GRC) Team at Moneycorp, based in our London, Victoria office. Reporting into the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), this critical role will see you conscientiously act as the bridge between Group-level data protection activities and business-specific management related risks globally.
As Moneycorp’s data protection guru, this will involve a mixture of both strategic and operational duties such as: embedding the Group’s data protection framework, deconstructing complex information, third-party vendor management, audit reporting and advising stakeholders at all levels of the business on approaches for effective data protection management. You will also work closely with the wider GRC Team to ensure projects related to clients and employee personal data is appropriately protected and processed in accordance with data protection laws and regulations.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate expert technical knowledge in data protection laws, able to deploy a range methodologies to manage data risks, and partner closely with the CISO to promote data protection best practice throughout the group entities. Therefore, we are ideally looking for someone who has extensive experience as a Data Protection Analyst looking for a step up or is currently operating as a DPM and possess sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, clear project management experience and comfortable working with a range of stakeholders to deliver sustainable business solutions to complex challenges.

Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position. The role will be home-based for the duration of the COVID-19 lockdown restriction. Thereafter, the job is expected to be office-based in Victoria, London as part of the Group Risk and Compliance team with the option for flexible work arrangements.
