The Role – Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
As a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, you will be expected to undertake the repair, servicing and preparation of vehicles, whilst detecting and diagnosing any faults for further repair ensuring all work is completed safely and to the dealers’ complete satisfaction.
You will also be responsible for/involved in the following:
Working effectively within the dealership team to ensure industry-leading standards of safety, customer care and satisfaction at all times
Accurately using the Auto VHC system ensuring achievement of efficiency
Supervising and assisting with the training of any Apprentice when requested to do so with the view to oversee their work
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm (1 hr Lunch) and every other Saturday 8am to 1pm.
Requirements for the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
Minimum qualification requirements NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
Eligibility to work in the UK
Full clean UK driving licence
Have an analytical approach to fault finding and problem solving
Have a high level of diagnostic, mechanical and technical competence
Be able to work unsupervised
Return high levels of productivity and efficiency on a regular basis
