We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join our Operations Division to take on full responsibility for our office based in the City of London. You will initially be working with key stakeholders to ensure the office is Covid secure and contribute to plans and preparation for the safe return of employees to the office.
On a day to day, you would be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and management of the building with around 300+ employees. This includes managing service contracts, maintenance programmes, administration and Health & Safety in order to meet the legal requirements of the business.
What you would be doing:
Manage all contracts relating to the building and services.
Responsible for all Health and Safety related matters including conducting DSE and risk assessments both in office and remotely.
Oversee building maintenance and cleaning staff to ensure the building is maintained to a professional standard.
Ensure all heating, ventilation, mechanical and electrical equipment is fit for purpose with all maintenance contracts in place
Oversee and manage office projects/ updates including desk/ floor moves and planning how the office space is used
Work with IT and HR to induct new starters, ensuring their workspace is set up correctly
What we are looking for:
At least 5 years facilities management experience
IOSH trained is preferable
Ideally experience of managing office space for at least 300+ staff
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Proactive, with the ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines in a changeable environment
