About the role:
We are looking for a Software Developer who is comfortable working across our stack, with a preference towards front end development. This role requires you to be a tech-savvy contributor, capable of translating customer needs into exceptional user interfaces. You must be an acute problem solver and understand the importance in ensuring that your code is optimized both in terms of the underlying technology and in delivering the best user experience possible.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with product and development teams to create scalable APIs and elegant, cross-platform user interfaces.
Helping to develop design specifications as a pre-requisite to writing code.
Follow best practice principles to ensure that the product can scale.
Review and optimize cross-platform app & resource usage, monitoring key metrics and rectifying any issues proactively.
Support software builds and infrastructure; learn to manage and keep our systems up and running, helping out with deployment, monitoring and logging.
Collaborate with people across the business to come up with ways to automate and scale internal operations.
Requirements:

We’re looking for people who can get up to speed quickly with our best practices and are comfortable working in a changing environment whilst being highly autonomous.
3 to 5 years of relevant work experience as a frontend developer, backend developer or full stack developer
Proficient with React and/or React Native
Knowledge of Django and experience with Django Rest Framework (optional)
Passionate about good design and high code quality
Ability to prioritise work streams to meet deadlines
An enthusiastic team player with good communication skills
