This is a superb opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to join this international insurer as part of their busy group reporting function.
This broad and far ranging role will include :
Assist with the completion of quarterly and annual reporting for the group inlcuing consolidation of primary statements, cash flow and investment data.
Preparation of group analytical reviews
Assist with accounting policies and procedures including both UK and US GAAP requirements
Maintenance of reporting structure within their systems including treatments in respect of acquisitions and disposals
Production of MI as required by senior exec
Contribution to the development of new ideas and processes.
This role would suit a recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) either gained within industry or practice. You must have demonstrable experience of working at large scale, complex business (ideally insurance or FS) again either as an auditor or an accountant. This is an organisation that has a proven track record of developing their staff so are able to provide both an interesting and varied group reporting role but also the opportunity for ambitious individual to develop in their career.
Insurance and FS experience is preferred but if coming from a large audit firm they will be open if worked on larger, complex groups. The insurance market continues to be robust and growing during these challenging times so an excellent opportunity to join a leader in this sector
