We are looking for a new Head of Quality and People Development. You’ll be responsible for the inspection, reporting and continuous improvement of all quality of advice. You’ll lead our Best Practice team as guardians of our advice quality ensuring our level of inspection and measurement satistfys regulatory requirements and our purpose, with the ethos of customers, people and profit at the core of any process. As an extension of this monitoring you lead our Advice coaches to use data to drive effective coaching to improve the customer experience and enhanced advice. You’ll ensure all LifeSearchers are fully trained to best do their job and serve our customers by making learning fun and engaging, continuously seeking out new techniques so our delivery is the best it can be.
Key responsibilities and requirements
Plan and execute all training across all LifeSearch ensuring that we meet our plans for growth while ensuring that we develop with new and existing courses to ultimately serve our customers within the assigned L&D budget which you are responsible for
Leads the Best Practice team and strategy ensuring our quality inspection and measurement drives the right outcomes and behaviours
Responsible for key strategic relationships
Utilises apprenticeship budget to maximise return and manages the relationship
Design and deliver new and existing training across the entire business, by identifying training requirements through the training planner and delivering courses to meet those needs
Has a thorough understanding of all protection products including business protection, group and IHT. If this is not in place you have developed a team of experts who have this knowledge
Demonstrates a high level of excellence through design, execution and follow through of training and coaching delivery
Leads our business in change through delivery of technical and/or soft skills based training. Can evidence effective follow through to embed the learning and demonstrate measures of success
Responsible for the care of the L&D teams’ individual development. Can evidence a structured path of this taking place, alongside the difference this has made to the individual and team
Can quantify impact of all L&D delivery with a goal of the function being revenue generating for LifeSearch
