Salary: Circa £25,000 per annum + Benefits
Contract: Fixed term for 12 months, Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Working Location: Home-based with flexibility to work some days in our Head office (London Victoria) once this reopens.

About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and highly organised HR Coordinator to join our small but busy HR team on a fixed term contract for 12 months.
As our new HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day administration support to the HR Team, particularly supporting the HR Manager to redefine HR administrative processes and systems for our newly created internal HR function. You will also assist with coordinating various HR activities throughout the employee life cycle while supporting Redthread to meet its people and organisational culture aspirations.
The HR team support 80 members of staff who work in various roles within our Head Office in Victoria and within hospital A&E sites in London, Nottingham and Birmingham. Our aim is to provide a proactive, efficient and professional HR service for all internal and external stakeholders while supporting Redthread to be a great place to work.
We will soon launch our new five-year organisational strategy so it’s a great time to join us and support the development of HR services for Redthread.
There will also be scope for the HR Coordinator to get involved with the development of our new internal learning management system and other HR projects including, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for candidates with excellent administration skills, strong attention to detail and enjoy working within a varied administrative role. As the position will rely on the use of electronic systems, you will need to be comfortable using technology and HR information systems, particularly self-service and online recruitment portals.
Good communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to maintain confidentiality and quickly build effective working relationships at all levels within the organisation will be essential. As well as managing our HRAdmin mailbox and being the first point of contact in HR for employees, you will be expected to apply a proactive approach to assisting the HR team to coordinate and implement HR processes that work for our staff, managers and the culture of the organisation.
Some HR experience gained within the Charity sector and/or health and social care sector would be helpful however we are happy to consider applicants with relevant skills and a passion for HR.
As the majority of the role will be home based – the successful candidate will also need to demonstrate the ability to work independently while maintaining trust-based working relationships remotely.
