Interim Financial Project Controller – Circa £450 per day LTD – 6/12 months
My client is an international consultancy business with offices in all major hubs. They are in the final stages of acquiring a small, multi site business which they will ultimately integrate into the parent. They require a finance professional to support them on this journey for 6-12 months. Travel will be required to major UK hubs post COVID-19 restrictions. This would likely suit a candidate based in London, The Midlands or Manchester.
There are several distinct elements required to deliver this role in full. Initially you will be required to sort out the basics in terms of the accounting function so that there is confidence in the P&L and balance sheet with clean delivery of cash flow, budget and forecast. The second part will be to then bring the financial timetable and reporting inline with the parent company before finally supporting the smooth integration of the acquired business.
