As an experienced Internal Auditor, you will assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls to provide independent assurance to the Board and senior management. In this role, you will continue to develop your understanding of the above mentioned businesses and establish effective relationships with stakeholders to aid in the timely identification of issues and the delivery of audits, working toward leading audits. You will prepare risk-based work plans and work papers to professional standards in line with Internal Audit’s methodology.
To be successful in this role, you will have prior Internal Audit or risk management experience, preferably in a financial services institution, excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
This role offers you a fantastic opportunity to work with our most dynamic and varied operating groups, Macquarie Capital and Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets. You will not need this domain experience to be successful in this team, but you will have the chance to develop your auditing skills in a truly dynamic environment. Working as part of our Risk Management Group your audits will lead to tangible improvements to the Groups management of risk. You will achieve this while working within a global team from a diverse range backgrounds, all of whom have deep knowledge and expertise in financial services and related areas. Whilst the role is based in London, you would be joining an internal audit team that is represented in Sydney, New York, Singapore, Jakarta, Gurugram and Hong Kong. Travel may be required as our business units are also represented across the globe.
