Lettings Accountant Full Time

The role

We are looking for an experienced Lettings Accountant to join part of a busy accounts team within a property company. This is a full time permanent role. Working hours, Monday to Friday 9am till 5.30pm. Based in Richmond, London.

What will you be doing as a Lettings Accountant?

• Managing accounts administration for the lettings team
• Oversee a small team of accountants
• Daily tasks including; service charge, purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, arrears chasing etc
• Liaising with clients and customers
• Conducting team appraisals
• Year end process
• Weekly, monthly and yearly reports
• Organising staff training and holiday rotas

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience using REAPIT is essential
• Minimum 3 years experience as an accountant within a lettings environment. You will have a good understanding of lettings and residential property management.
• Ideally you will have previously managed a small team (although not essential)
• Excellent MS Word and Excel skills
• Well developed interpersonal and communication skills
