Aramco Trading Limited (ATL) was incorporated in London on 28 March 2019. ATL carry out energy trading activities, in particular the trading, by way of procurement and sale of refined products, crude oil, specialty petroleum products and chemicals. In addition to physical trading, ATL also engage in a wide variety of activities including shipping, chartering, storage and trading of financial derivatives. The company has a widely diverse employee base with expertise in all aspects of the oil trading market. The rapidly expanding London team compliments our global network and provides constant coverage across all time zones. ATL is an active participant in hydrocarbon trading in Europe, Africa and the Americas, with wide variety of crude grades and different petroleum products. The Company has also been expanding its activities to include GAS business where trading Liquefied Petroleum Products (LPG) and Lignified Natural Gas (LNG) form part of the growing portfolio. We are now seeking an experienced Chemicals Trader to join our newly established team.Basic Function: Candidate will be responsible for sales from Aramco system as well as 3rd party opportunities. Our global system is expected to reach 4 million tons by 2021. Products include PX & BZ and possibly other chemicals.Candidate will need to identify opportunities to improve margins such as system tons optimizations, SWAPs or participating in market tenders. This role will require constant follow up with Operations & Chartering teams to have consistent lifting and manage product inventory. Manage customers’ representatives, be responsible for pricing and sales forecasting. In addition, the candidate will support the team in different products as needed and during coverage periods.Principal Contacts:External:External contacts include customers, senior management including Procurement Managers, Sales Managers, Logistics Managers and Technical Managers, on regular basis. Candidate’s role is to promote Saudi Aramco, its products and to build business relationships. Internal:Internal contacts include the Aramco Trading’s Traders, Finance, Chartering and Operations. Candidate will make frequent visits to and contact with operating facilities in Saudi Arabia.Principal Duties: Responsible for the development of Product StrategyResponsible for the implementation of the Company’s Business PlanIdentify and define key opportunities in line with the Liquid Chemicals’ business strategyResponsible for total Liquid Chemicals’ sales in Asia and globallyResponsible for ensuring accurate customer pricingResponsible for ensuring accurate customer forecasts, monthly/quarterlyPropose key programs for growth.Develop relationships, targets and account plans for key customersAnalyse market intelligence relating to market trendsDevelop product P&L and manage itSupport Saudi Aramco facilities & JVs in supplying required feedstockMay require to provide consultation support to Saudi Aramco departments based on needsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:University degree in Sales, Marketing or EngineeringMBA or Masters preferred but not required3 to 6+ years sales/trading experience in PX and/or Benzene.Experience in other liquid chemicals is an advantageFluent in English. Proficiency in other languages desiredBasic to advanced IT capabilities (SAP R3, MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)Basic knowledge in FinanceBasic to advanced knowledge in Platts, ICIS and Thomson Reuters
