The firm recently had a major investment & is very well backed…even during these times!The teams backgrounds vary from working at the top tech houses, trading firms, pioneering agile and creating the world’s fastest java platform! It’s a relaxed/flexible firm with lovely people who also offer a genuine work-life balance. We are after a self-proclaimed geek with a genuine passion in Agile, Java and Open source tech who has a hunger to keep learning! The role has a strong focus on CI/CD, automation and BDD/TDD/DDD. The team emphasises high levels of collaboration, self-organisation, knowledge sharing and being able to work across all parts of the system. (A full job spec is available) Requirements: Strong core Java development background with app design & architecture skillsExperience/knowledge of low-level development ideally with Java (not essential)Performance tuning & optimisationExperienced ideally with low-latency, real-time and/or multi-threaded systemsAPI developmentKnowledge around connectivity/networksA personality with a desire to learn, grow and use new tech!
