The Role

This is a great opportunity for a management accountant to join a thriving business and take the next step in their career.

The candidate must have relevant experience, including a strong knowledge of management accounts, reporting and an entrepreneurial mindset. Experience using NetSuite is essential.  Experience and/or knowledge of the Financial Services sector and SAAS businesses is desired.

What you’ll do

Reporting directly to the Chief Finance Officer, you’ll:

• Prepare group management accounts
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• KPI reporting
• Develop and continually improve processes and controls
• Invoicing clients
• Payments for group companies/intercompany reconciliations
• Regulatory reporting
• Assist in the annual audit and accounts
• Prepare VAT calculations and returns
• Review budget vs actual and discuss with department heads
• Varied, operational business partnering with various internal departments

What you’ll bring

In order to be considered for this role, you must be 1-3 years post qualified, have experience with VAT and partial VAT, run month end management accounts process and analysing month end data. You must be well organised, have a passion for start-ups and be flexible and confident in dealing with staff at all levels across all departments.

• Strong experience of month end management accounts
• Previous experience on NetSuite is a must
• Proficient in Microsoft excel
• Able to manipulate data in Excel, and PowerPoint for presenting (on occasion).
