Management Accountant                   Permanent                   London                 £65,000 per annum plus benefits

Our client a leading loan servicing organisation are seeking a Management Accountant on a permanent basis within their head office located in Central London.

The role will be responsible for all accounting, FP&A, cash flow and related tax matters for various entities across the group. You will be supported by the AP/AR-team in relation to those entities and report to the Finance Director.
 
Responsible for the accounting (multi-currency / multi-jurisdictions) and yearend statutory reporting for a variety of group-entities and, where applicable, related regulatory financial reporting.
Assist the Finance team in producing monthly management accounts across the group as well as annual 3-year Business Plans.
Monitor the cash flow needs/surpluses of the affected entities.
Assist the Finance team in ad-hoc projects and queries

Core Responsibilities::

Accounting for a variety of group-entities in different jurisdictions (supported by the AP/AR-team) and auditor-liaison
Processing of related month-end and year-end journals, and related documentation/lead-schedules/reconciliation’s
Related VAT-reporting and, for corporation tax, liaison with external tax advisor’s
Detailed annual 3-year business planning for the affected group entities
Regulatory financial reporting (monthly / quarterly), where applicable
Monitor the cash flow needs/surpluses of the entities responsible for (multi-currency environment / FX).
Finance focal point for Operations and external Finance stakeholders regarding the entities covering

Key Skills:

Good understanding (legal entity level) of Accounting, Reporting and Budgeting / Business Planning
Fully qualified (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with circa 2-year post-qualification experience
Preferred: FRS 102 (UK GAAP) experience (alternatively: IFRS)
Experience of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction environment
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to organise/prioritise the workload largely self-sustained
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail while keeping focused on the big picture 
Essential Approved Persons Examinations (e.g. FSA, CFA):
