Role Marketing Coordinator and CopywriterLocation London (currently remote / home working)Reports to CCORole type Initial 6 month mat leave cover contract with a route to permanent for the right candidateSalary £55,000 + per annumApplications open Monday 8 February 2021Applications close Friday 12 February 2021Role OverviewThe Marketing Coordinator and Copywriter will be responsible for managing Elephant’s brand, communication and marketing assets (including our website and social media platforms), creating content for internal and external stakeholders, working with Elephant’s commercial team to help articulate and deliver strategic marketing plans, and assisting the team to hit Elephant’s ambitious growth targets.As Elephant scales and launches into new markets, you will act as a brand guardian, ensuring that all communications uphold Elephant’s mission, brand values and key messages, whilst delivering against our objectives. You will work with a broad range of stakeholders, both internal and external, to deliver excellent content, building Elephant’s credibility and driving advocacy among our customers.You will report directly to the CCO (while the marketing team grows) and work closely with stakeholders across the business including the global Business Development team, Product and Operations, to drive insight-led strategic communications.Responsibilities You will be a key member of our dynamic Growth & Marketing team, focused on ambitious growth targets; You will be the central contact within the business for the development and drafting of content including commercial sales decks, reports, website copy, social media content, as well as report drafting, grant and tender applications and investor communications; You will manage our external relationships with graphic designers, website designers, videographers and other creatives; You will help launch Elephant in new markets, ensuring all communications reflect Elephant’s brand, mission and values; You will be responsible for capturing stories from the frontline and driving engagement with our customers across a range of touch points; You will work closely with the global Business Development, Product, Research and Operations team to unearth insights, to drive marketing strategy and set KPIs; and We value the expertise and voice of every team member, and you will be pivotal in shaping the future of the Growth & Marketing team’s culture. RequirementsSkills, attributes and experienceOur ideal colleague will have the following skills, attributes and experienceEssential 3 + years experience in a Marketing and Communications role; A strategic mindset and strong commercial acumen; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; A keen eye for detail, design and content; Brilliant asset organisation skills; Experience working cross functionally to deliver complex projects in fast-paced environment; and Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing. Desired Experience working in the technology sector; Basic in-design technical skills; and Proven ability to work with teams across different markets and contexts. Nice to haveExperience in public health or working with governments. Our headquarters are based in London, but we are currently working fully remotely due to COVID-19 and when we move back into an office environment, we aim to support part-time working from home on a case by case basis; and 25 days holidays (pro rata) + public holidays.
