An exciting position has become available for a Moodle E-learning Course Designer to join a friendly team based in London. The company is based in London, but they are looking for a home-worker. The hours are flexible, with optional work patterns available being: Project-based fixed term contract of 5 days per week equating to a 12-week project, or 3 days per week. Alternatively, a permanent position is available encompassing other related duties.
The successful candidate will earn £25,000 FTE.
This is a newly created role aimed at a talented individual who is an expert with the Moodle platform and has the ability to transfer pre-designed Microsoft Word and pdf format qualification material to the Moodle platform in an exciting, eye-catching manner introducing interactive and engaging content.
Role Requirements
Potentially would suit an Under-graduate or graduate in Graphic Design or related degree.
Technical IT expertise and in-depth knowledge of the Moodle platform and its functionality.
Creative designer with use of own flair.
High standard of oral and written communication.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Team player and ability to work on own initiative.
You must have your own PC equipment for these projects unless a permanent role is accepted.
Role Responsibilities
Support the development of first-class e-learning courses
Create interactive e-learning content from existing training material
Use your ability and flair to create engaging graphics, illustrations which demonstrate the learning content.
Introduce other learning formats, interactive devices and technique for assessment, such as multiple-choice questions, etc.
To improve the learning product by ‘adding value’ to its existing content.
Routine maintenance of the e-learning packages created, dealing with any learner issues as appropriate.
Project Brief 1 – Initial project to focus on RQF Level 4 content transferring 7 training modules within one qualification to the Moodle e-learning platform within our Learning Hub. Anticipated to take up to 14 days per module,
Project Brief 2 – To focus on another Level 4 qualification content transferring and designing engaging modules as above. Qualification is currently being written, so commencement of project to be confirmed.
Other duties: If the applicant is interested in the full-time position, there will be other related project work and duties to support the business, between project work.
