Working for a company where you feel that you are valued and you will be given the opportunity to make improvements on machinery is important… right?
You will be working for a fast-growing manufacturer based in the South of London, a positive with the position is that you will also have the opportunity to work on a wide range of fully automated machinery and the relevant training will be provided.
You will need to be flexible with your working hours to support the business and your colleagues. The already established engineering team is very strong, you will need to be able to adapt quickly and be able to work on your own at times.
As a multi-skilled Engineer, you would be working on reactive breakdowns and planned scheduled maintenance. You will be required to diagnose electrical faults, so this is something that we are looking for. Also, if you have experience of project work, then you will be pleased to hear, that there are several projects scheduled for new automated machinery to be installed, and you could play a key part in commissioning this. PLC’s are something that they have in abundance, if you would like to utilise your skills, then this is for you.
If you are looking for a company that will allow you to progress or provide a clear direction of what is required to progress, then this is a great opportunity for you. The Engineering Manager is looking for an individual that can support him where required, with contract management, stock control, development of engineers etc. So, if you have supervisory experience then this will stand you in good stead.
What experience do you need? – because of the fast-paced nature of the product, your experience of food manufacturing/FMCG is essential. You would also require to be apprentice trained in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with a good understanding of each discipline.
