UK Healthcare is currently seeking an Orthopedic Joint nurse coordinator within Orthopaedic Surgery. This position will be a vital part of managing the education, scheduling, ensuring insurance authorizations and coordination of care for the orthopedic Joint patient and team. The position reports to the Practice Manager/Nurse Manager where applicable and ensures the care needs – both direct patient care as well as educational and coordination – of each patient is met.

The Orthopedic Joint Nurse Coordinator will provide direct clinical care and/or consultation to both medical and nursing staff or in complicated Orthopaedic Joint patient situations, assessing patient situations at an advanced level of expertise. This position also has program coordination duties, including systematically assessing clinical quality, practice patterns, and monitoring to ensure compliance with clinical standards, coordination of care, protocols and inherent processes. The Nurse Coordinator will also provide clinic education, providing content expertise for all educational programs within clinical areas.
