This is a two form entry school for children aged 3 to 11 years. Although over 400 children attend the academy every day, staff are confident that each of them feels valued as an individual by every member of staff. Over the summer, they have invested in additional indoor and outdoor facilities and equipment to make sure that break times and lunchtimes are more enjoyable than ever, and to increase the range of sports and extra-curricular activities that they can offer before and after school. They also offer support to families, and value the partnerships between children, parents, the school and the wider community in improving the lives of the children in their care.
•A two form entry Primary Academy for ages 3 to 11 years, with an attached Nursery
•Located in Reading on the Fringe of London, with quick train links into London
•This is a valued community; staff are caring and individual needs are supported with the support of family and the network
•Teachers are supported with excellent professional development opportunities to further their career in education, with great avenues to explore beyond the realm of a classroom teacher.

The ideal candidate will have the vision, energy and drive to work with young people, raise awareness of their achievements and contribute to general school life.
Key Responsibilities of the job include
•Planning and delivering lessons across the curriculum to pupils
•Liaising with the staff team to develop programs of learning
•Assessing and reviewing student development
•Utilising modern technology in the classroom
In order to be considered for this position, all applicants must fulfil the following criteria:
•Be UK qualified or hold a recognised teaching qualification
•Be eligibile to work in the UK
•Have a DBS Disclosure and/or overseas police check
•Have a CV and professional education references covering the last 2 years of employment
