Product Manager – Mortgages

Grade E

Location: Nottingham or UK Wide (our teams are working from home)

We are recruiting for a Product Manager to work in Experian’s Marketplace team with specific responsibility for our rapidly growing our Mortgage related products. We are based in Nottingham & London, although our team is currently working remotely from home.

Experian Marketplace develop data and technology products for the financial services market specialising in credit pre-qualification services & consumer credit reports. Our products allow price comparison sites, brokers and lenders to match consumers with lenders credit products improving market efficiency. We work with many names you will know including MoneySuperMarket & ClearScore, Mortgage Gym & Mojo Mortgages, Barclays, Natwest, & Coventry Building Society.

We are an agile team where great ideas quickly become scaled products.

Key responsibilities:

• Identification of new product development opportunities within mortgage market by using frameworks such as jobs to be done in order to translate customer and stakeholder needs into visionary products
• Designing concepts and prototypes to test with consumers and clients in order to validate assumptions
• Ownership of product roadmaps, prioritisation of product backlog within agile teams & accountability for products commercial performance.
• Optimising existing products in market, articulating clear product value statements and working with GTM teams to achieve revenue & EBIT goals.

Essential requirements:

Previous product management/new product development experience, ideally mortgages, or other financial services.Ability to communicate well with clients and partners
