Location: London, although currently working remotely due to COVID
Contract: Fixed-term contract, until August 2021, with possible extension
Pattern: Part time – 3 days a week, flexible hours

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 p.a., depending on experience
About the role:
Ark is looking for a programme coordinator with strong project management and administrative skills to join a new project running ‘Maths Circles’ across England for disadvantaged students aged 11-13. The project is being governed by UBS Optimus Foundation and Ark is managing organising and evaluating the pilot phase. Maths Circles aim to develop students’ mathematical thinking and expand their mathematical curiosity, and will draw on similar models implemented successfully in Russia and America. The first stage of the project will be a feasibility study running four models of Maths Circles from February – August 2021. This role will manage the coordination and evaluation of this pilot phase.
This wide-ranging role encompasses project management, relationship building, customer service, and financial administration. For the right candidate, there is plenty of scope for growth and development in the role, as well as the opportunity to contribute to innovation and development within the team.
