Project Director, UK Offshore Wind – Green Investment Group Part Time

This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Offshore Wind Project Director to join the Asset Creation Team of our Green Investment Group and support the Group’s transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy.

Based in London, as Project Director of one of Green Investment Group’s UK early-stage offshore wind farm developments, you will have direct responsibility to the project board for the safe delivery of a large-scale offshore wind farm to time and budget. Your leadership and management will motivate and guide the project team to meet this objective.

You will be a highly experienced infrastructure project leader, with significant previous experience in the development of offshore wind farms in the UK. You will also have a very strong technical understanding of offshore wind energy infrastructure, and a thorough knowledge of UK onshore and offshore planning law. As the primary point of contact for project and joint venture partners, you will have excellent report writing and presentation skills. You will be a confident communicator to a range of audiences and have strong people coordination skills. You’ll be required to undertake regular travel within the UK and occasionally to other destinations within Europe.

This role is in Macquarie Capital, specifically within the Green Investment Group.
