Risk Manager – Cyber Security Oversight Part Time

As part of the Security Team within CCOR you’ll put customers at the heart of everything we do by protecting them, us and our suppliers from security threats

What You’ll Be Doing

In this impactful role, you’ll provide specialist cyber security insight across the Group as part of the 2nd line risk oversight function

Other responsibilities include:

• Leading the delivery of oversight and presenting findings to key partners
• Provide oversight of Cyber Risk reporting to the Head of Operational Resilience and Security Risk within the Operational Resilience oversight team
• You’ll engage with key partners in the Chief Resilience and Security Office, providing specialist insight, advice and developing divisional understanding of security risks across the Group
• You’ll provide an independent opinion on the businesses’ management of risk, challenging areas of mitigation or control weakness, and identifying and coordinating assurance activities based on the current and future risk profile of our business
• You’ll provide opinions in line with Executive and Board level presentations on Cyber Risk
• You’ll play a key role participating in the management of our relationships with internal and external audit; regulator and industry bodies

Are you someone who already knows and is passionate about Cyber Risk and looking to take your career to the next level? If yes, we value the following:

Essential:

• Validated experience of cyber risk gained within a financial services or banking environment including legislation and relevant risk management frameworks
• Demonstrated experience of scoping, delivering and writing opinions / reports on the effectiveness of cyber risks and controls.
• Project manager with the ability to deliver promptly to deadlines
• Excellent communicator with the ability to build positive relationships up to Director level

Desirable

• Working proficiency in technical security; with experience of cloud computing; networking or identity & access management
• Proven knowledge of new technologies and horizon risk (including artificial intelligence and distributed ledger technology)
• You’ll hold a suitable qualification such as CSX Fundamentals, CISSP, CRISC, CISM, ISO27001 lead auditor or similar
