As their Senior Power Electronics Engineer you will be independently designing, prototyping and testing the Power Electronics as well as working with DC DC projects to begin with! Your role as their Senior Power Electronics Engineer will involve working with power in the range of up to hundreds of KW as well as mentoring a Junior Engineer from a technical perspective.

You will be responsible for the full product lifecyle of the Electronics with your voice being very much heard and able to influence the project to ensure success.
Core Skills for this role include:-
5+ Years in experience in power electronics design, Power Electronics/Power conversion (DC:DC,AC:DC).
Experience/Exposure of being in a safety critical environment
Knowledge of PCB Layout/Schematics
Experience of design and debugging power electronic circuits, components and PCB assemblies for new product development.
Design, setup and run tests to ensure the design meets specifications.
Ability to carry out feasibility studies to determine most suitable topologies to meet requirements.
