We are a small vibrant team based in central London, developing continuously novel software and hardware together with clinicians and patients. Neurofenix was born at Europe’s top start-up accelerator and has been recognised as the UK leading engineering and social impact startup by the Royal Academy of Engineering, Nominet Trust and Innovate UK.

Take ownership of the backend system that is the brain of our software platform
Self-motivated, proactive, take ownership of the full development process of backend features
Team player, eager to receive product feedback from users and team members
Take pride in your well-structured code, facilitating both the platform’s architecture and software team’s scaling
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 3 years of solid professional programming experience with any loosely typed programming language, ideally Python Flask
Experience with Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
Experience working in a client-server environment and knowledge of how API and network-based operations work
Experience with Cloud infrastructures (eg. AWS)
Very familiar with Test-Driven Development
Excellent communication skills
Experience with Dependency Injection (DI) and Inversion of Control (IoC)
Experience with a RESTFUL API or GraphQL
Experience with CI/CD
Experience with token-based authentication systems
