Senior Technical Accounting Manager – London (remote)- £80,000-£100,000

My London-based client is currently looking for a Senior Technical Accounting Manager to join their team, where you will be providing live support and guidance to the existing Financial Accounting team.

In order to succeed within this role, you will need to be a technically-minded person who is delivery-focused and a doer. You will also need to have strong oral and written communication skills as these are a prerequisite. You will interact on a regular basis with senior individuals, auditors, and legal advisors.

Essential Skills Needed

• ACA, fully qualified – Big 6 Trained.
• IFRS technical accounting/accounting policy experience. 
• Transitioning subsidiaries from FRS 102 to FRS 101;
• Revenue recognition;
• Hedge accounting/ financial instruments;
• Share-based payments;
• Lease accounting;
• Acquisitions/disposals accounting (the Ardonagh Group is highly acquisitive);
• Financial statements review;
• Group accounting policy manual;
• Goodwill impairment;
