Neurofenix is a purpose-driven start-up company determined to improve the lives of stroke survivors. Our award-winning digital rehabilitation platform strives to be the most engaging training system on the market, empowering stroke survivors to regain movement and independence. Our product won UK’s Best Invention 2018 and saw us featured in Sky News!

We are a small vibrant team based in central London, developing continuously novel software and hardware together with clinicians and patients. Neurofenix was born at Europe’s top start-up accelerator and has been recognised as the UK leading engineering and social impact startup by the Royal Academy of Engineering, Nominet Trust and Innovate UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop Android applications using Unity3D, with responsive and excellent user interfaces
• Self-motivated, proactive, take ownership of the full development process of client-facing features
• Team player, eager to receive product feedback from users and team members
• Take pride in your well-structured code, facilitating both the platform’s architecture and software team’s scaling

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 3 years of solid professional programming experience, ideally with C#
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
• Experience working in a client-server environment and knowledge of how API and network-based operations work
• Experience with GitHub
• Excellent communication skills

BONUS

• Experience with the Unity3D game engine
• Experience with Dependency Injection (DI) and Inversion of Control (IoC)
• Experience with a RESTFUL API or GraphQL
• Experience with UI/UX design practices
• Have ever heard of Fitts’s law? You know what it is and design accordingly
