Position: QA / ETL Testing, Database TestingLocation: London, UK Duration: 12 Months contract Possible extension ResponsibilitiesAs a QA Consultant in the Credit Assessment and Origination (CAO) Services team, you will be participating in various software implementation projects by providing QA on our projects for the configuration of our Commercial and Corporate Loan Origination software solutions. You should possess both functional and technical capabilities. In general, you will be expected to assist in performing project tasks such as:Work closely with the internal teams to plan project QA activitiesQA the implemented interfaces and business rulesQA the financial spreading templates or risk grading modelsQA workflow process configurationCreate QA test casesUtilize Client proprietary or industry standard software toolsUtilize our tracking systems (issues, timesheet)RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in IT and/or Computer Science or related field and at least 6-8 years of relevant professional experience in software implementation projects (gained with banks, software firms, consulting firms or integrators). You will be asked to demonstrate:Hands-on IT skills: basic knowledge of database management systems and one scripting language (such as R, Python or JavaScript)Comfort and familiarity with executing SQL Scripts and moving files around on computersStrong oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact with the project teamAbility to investigate and problem solve technical issuesMinimum BA or BS Degree
