The University of Kentucky Voice & Swallow Clinic, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, College of Health Sciences is seeking a motivated health care professional to fill a full time Clinical Speech-Language Pathology position. This position will provide diagnostic and treatment services for a wide range of swallowing disorders to an outpatient Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery population in an exciting and busy state-of-the-art Voice & Swallow Clinic. This is an exciting opportunity to work clinically on a multidisciplinary collaborative team that includes multi-specialty physicians and speech-language pathologists. Experience in diagnostic techniques including videofluoroscopy and flexible and rigid endoscopy is preferred. Experience with head and neck cancer and neurogenic populations is also desired. In addition to the above, one of the essential functions of this position is to perform outreach and extension to develop inter professional community partners. The successful applicant must possess or be eligible for Kentucky State licensure and be ASHA certified (CCC-SLP). A minimum of 2 years’ experience is desired.
