Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
This position will establish and maintain the DFCI Employee Testing Center which tracks asymptomatic staff positivity rates through a voluntary surveillance program and help to ensure the testing is accessible to all DFCI staff.

This is a temporary role with a schedule of Monday-Thursday from 6:30am-4:00pm and the position requires access to a vehicle and the willingness to travel between the various DFCI campus’.
Must have the means to travel to the various satellite locations below every week Monday-Thursday, 6:30 am – 4:00pm.
South Shore (Weymouth)
Longwood (as needed for coverage)
Set up the label maker and laptop and ensure working smoothly prior to start of testing
Welcome and check in each person who requests a test through Broad Careevolve system
Observe staff and assure nasal swab is done correctly
Maintain a log of corrected demographic data and send to HRIS at the end of day
Arrange for courier to come and pick up samples daily at each site
Import data from Broad Care-evolve system to Cority
Email NP’s of any reported Covid positive test results
Maintain a log of supplies and facilitate the delivery or more supplies to the various locations
Answer questions about testing
Frequency of testing
Testing after Covid Vaccine
Accessing test results
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Associate’s degree and/or 0-2 years equivalent experience preferred.
Experience working in a medical or customer service setting preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Ability to multi-task and function as an integral member of the team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Excellent computer, customer service and problem solving skills required. Demonstrated ability to draft reports, correspondence and other administrative documents pertaining to patient scheduling as needed.
Access to a car to deliver supplies and to open and run the Testing Center at each site every week.
Availablity for Monday-Thursday, 6:30am to 4:00pm.
