Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for a fast-growing renewable energy firm based in the City of London.
An excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant (ACA trained) to be part of a global finance function, learning from the best in the industry.
This role is newly created through company growth and will be a hands-on role in the Group Treasury function.
You’ll be working to add value for a young renewable energy company, gaining a wide breadth of experience and ownership in the work that you do.
Key aspects to the role will involve loan compliance monitoring for the Group’s project finance debt; and supporting the implementation and operations of a new global Treasury Management System.
About the role
Monitoring and supporting group loan compliance
Play a key role in developing the treasury function especially in relation to the roll out and operation of a new Treasury Management System
Helping to integrate the Treasury Management System with:
Accurate and timely quarterly reporting to investors of group bank accounts, debt and swaps
Preparation and execution of payment runs
Maintain and develop corporate banking relationships and payment platforms
Supporting cash flow forecasting and hedging activities
Working with tax, financial accountants, M&A, Business Development to provide insight and support in cross-departmental activities
Other ad-hoc support within the finance team e.g. supporting energy price hedging strategies
Office based and WFH mix
A qualified chartered accountant (ACA or equivalent) with good technical experience and post-qualification experience.
