Leading the team of Welcome Assistant staff and volunteers, you’ll be a role model for how it should be done and you’ll support the team to ensure everyone plays their part in a warm and welcome team culture, resulting in property welcome like no other. Your team will always be striving to provide inspirational experiences for all, whether they are welcoming visitors in admissions or sharing stories that bring the property to life, visitors will have a personal and tailored experience, to meet their wants and needs.
What it’s like to work here
A country retreat in the heart of Worcestershire. The house and garden, originally a stage-set for summer parties, offer a glimpse into life at the turn of the 18th century. Included in the Hall are original wall-paintings by Sir James Thornhill, which are full of drama and politics and show the birth of Georgian society.
The original formal gardens, designed by George London, have been faithfully re-created and complement the relaxed later gardens, with orangery, orchards and walled garden.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll manage your team rota, so that the operation runs smoothly, managing budgets and monitoring targets and statistics to ensure you’re always on top of your game. You’ll use your strong communication skills to make sure everyone within your team knows what’s happening when and keep that close link between your team and the rest of the property, so others know how they can help you too. Where necessary, you’ll support wider programming opportunities and activities, ensuring those quality conversations continue right throughout the visitor journey.
