Accounts Assistant £30-40,000pa, City of London, Temp or Perm
My client have an urgent need for an Accounts Assistant within the Finance team for their offices located in the City of London.
You will be providing assistance with group purchase and sales ledger management and have experience of accounts payable/receivable (receiving/creating invoices, checking they are authorised/correct, arranging payment etc).
Purpose
To provide resources to help ensure all basic underlying data (invoices/expenses/bank transactions) has been collated and processed within the accounting system to facilitate accurate ledger management and external reporting.
Core Responsibilities
Assistance as appropriate in the production of sales invoices and management of sales ledger function
Assistance as appropriate in processing purchase invoices and management of purchase ledger function
Assistance with periodic VAT reporting
Skills and Competencies
Experience of Netsuite is essential
Prior accounts payable/receivable experience
Good understanding of systems, infrastructures and processes in diverse environments
Good knowledge of MS Office tools, in particular strong Excel
Attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships across the Group
Understanding of VAT in relevant countries, i.e. UK, Germany, Spain and US
