Working under the direction of the Application Manager, the Application
Analyst (AA) functions as the primary build expert to configure, build &
install the application in partnership with the Division of Hematology Oncology (HemOnc) to review, analyze, and build Beacon Protocols (Research and Standard of Care). As an experienced Application Analyst, you must have in-depth knowledge of the software
application as well as understand the policies, procedures and constraints of
the clinical and business operation supported by the application. You will develop and document internal
procedures, collect information and prepare specifications of system
enhancements, analyze functionality in new releases and test each new
release. You will also assist in the development of user training aids and may
train end users in workflow and use of the application. In this role, you function as the
primary contact to troubleshoot problems and questions from end-users during
training, go-live and stabilization periods.

Qualifications
Epic Willow and/or Beacon certification strongly preferred (if you do not have certification, you will be required to pass the Epic certification exam in two attempts within three months; this requires travel to Wisconsin (3X) to attend 3 Epic certification training sessions)
Three years of experience in a healthcare related organization
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
RPh/PharmD degree strongly preferred
Oncology pharmacy experience highly desired
Basic project management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, manage project plan)
Demonstrated skill in system workflow and business process flow analysis and design
Prior experience with IT systems and systems development projects
Demonstrated proficiency with information systems technology including Microsoft Office Suite, email, intranet, internet and other systems
