We’re looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Management Accountant to provide help and support to the finance team in the delivery of management accounts, reporting and forecasting. A knowledge of service charge accounting is desirable although not essential.
You’ll need to demonstrate:
AAT qualified or part qualified (or similar)
Experience in producing monthly accounts and forecasts
Ability to work collaboratively, prioritise workloads and be self-motivated
A high level of attention to detail
2 years’ management accounting experience
Have some technical accountancy knowledge & intermediate excel skills
Have a desire to provide an excellent customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Posting large complex journals allocating service charge costs
Preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts plus annual forecast
Reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts
Assisting with internal and external audit queries
Providing reports and support for Senior Management Team and budget holders.
Supporting the Service Charge and Operations teams with service charge queries
