Person Specification for Behaviour Mentor You will need to be a confident graduate who has earned at least a 2:2 in your degree and a good understanding of how to work with children based on experience gained from a classroom based role. You must have the skills to demonstrate a genuine interest in the welfare of your pupils through unwavering support in the social and emotional elements to school life. You must possess an inspiring personality and a positive outlook. You will have the ability to introduce your own ideas when supporting learning, showing your leadership skills and ability to take on responsibilities.
About the Role for Behaviour Mentor At this 2-form entry school, as a KS2 Behaviour Mentor you will be supporting the development of a specific group of children who can be challenging in general classes. You will also be required to plan and execute small group lessons with the support of the class teacher.
