The overall purpose of the role is to support in identifying and converting new business opportunities through the management and delivery of professional proposals (PQQ, RFI’s, RFPs, RTT, Tender responses etc.)ResponsibilitiesManagement, support and development of individual bids.ensuring each bid team knows and executes on their specific roles.Responsible for driving the strategies, rules, processes and procedures for bid team engagement and operation.Creation of a Bid Plan that defines the resources required to complete the bid, the actions that each bid team member is required to complete and the deadlinesSecuring the required resources by gaining buy in from the relevant managerSupport sales by providing relevant materials and content and develop their skills to respond directly to bids.Personally owning/leading major bid opportunities.Knowledge & ExperienceProposal development in a services environment.Leading/winning complex bid opportunities.Preparing and editing high quality written content.Solution development and facilitationPublic and private sector bids, in both storyboard and prose formats.Structured proposal methodologies, such as Shipley.Familiarity with a technical environment and awareness of the technology services industryWhat QA can offerQA is one of the largest learning services organisations in the UK, developing skills and capabilities for everyone from apprentices to business leaders.
