Our Client is a dynamic and progressive Building Services consultancy that was formally established in 2014. The founding partners, directors and team have evolved together over the last two decades, developing a unique working relationship that has overseen rapid growth since their conception.
The business has delivered projects for a diverse spectrum of customers across sectors including residential, commercial, leisure, healthcare, education and major events. As a direct result of client recommendation, the company has enjoyed huge success and now operates from Leeds and London, covering work nationally and internationally. Their approach to each project stems from the belief that every building is a place to live, work, socialise, retreat, holiday and/or enjoy.
A true London office sets this practice apart from many of their competitors, winning work and supporting Southern based schemes locally. With one of the founding partners permanently stationed in London and supported by a small design team, this provides an enviable platform from which to cherry pick projects and inspire confidence with those who request a “London based service”.
Despite the current economic challenges, the business has grown once again this year and added key hires to further strengthen what was already a high performing M&E team. The latest high profile vacancy relates to the significant advancements they have made within their BIM Team over the last 2 years, now looking for a spearhead to take this talented division to the next level. With a team of 6 already in place, ranging from senior to junior technicians, this is a great opportunity to promote excellence and secure a true managerial position with one of the leading independent M&E specialists in the UK.
Applications are invited from experienced BIM professionals from the Building Services world who can demonstrate high levels of technical awareness and software knowledge (Revit MEP), along with promoting strong leadership and motivational people management. A thorough understanding of the wider aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering would also be beneficial, allowing greater interaction with the design engineers and encouraging multidisciplinary collaboration for complex projects.
The environment is often fast paced, requiring an energetic “can do” attitude, providing an important service based at the heart of the design team. Finally, based in Leeds city centre, this role also offers excellent public transport commuting options and a pleasant social element for after work events
