Assists with preventive maintenance of medical equipment as directed and supervised.
Assists with repair of medical equipment as directed and supervised.
Documents services performed as directed.
Performs other duties as instructed and supervised.
Completion of an accredited, Bio-Medical associated technical or degree program required.
Required Skills and Experience:
Preferred candidates will be currently enrolled and majoring in healthcare-related fields, Healthcare Administration, or an academic major directly related to the position details provided above Biomedical Equipment Technology. Currently enrolled sophomore, junior, or senior-level students are preferred; however, all students are encouraged to apply.
Standing, walking, sitting, reaching, squatting, kneeling and lifting ability up to 75 lbs. good eye sight and a steady hand, perform under stress.
May come in contact with patients. Will encounter unpleasant conditions and exposure to heat, cold, noise, dirt, inclement weather, chemicals and gases, water, fumes, overhead pipes, infectious disease or hazardous waste. Some overnight travel may be required for training purposes.
