Role details

• Title: Business Analyst
• Company: Retail Brokerage Insurance
• Location: London City (London bridge/ Cannon Street) (2/ 3 day hybrid model)
• 14 month maternity cover role
• Ready for May start
• Salary £35-55,000 dependant on level of experience

This is a Business Analyst role to join the projects change management team. You will be working directly with the business users within projects change

They manage all projects for all central services including retail, hr, marketing, legal etc

What is particularly interesting about this team cover both small and large projects

You will be covering for a Business Analyst who is going off on maternity leave for 12 months. You will be joining for 14 months initially for a hand over and hand over return, with the possibility of joining as a full time permanent employee at the end of the 14 months cover

• You will be joining ASAP to do a hand over and joining in April

Your day to day

• Is very much focused as a true business analyst
• You will need to really understand the business
• Document the requirements well
• Write full business requirements documentation
• You will need to challenge those requirements sometimes!
• Facilitate workshops
• Work directly with SMEs in the business
• Run steering committees
• Assist with the project managers and testing through the full project lifecycle

Requirements

• Solid Business Analyst
• Bright, keen to learn
• Experience of Business projects Technology projects
• Financial services are a must
• Insurance is 95% prerequisite, as it will help you talk to the business
• Build the business relationships, and be a true partner
