The last 6 months has seen seismic shifts and changes in the business-world, and here at AlphaGraphics, things are no different. As a result, we are looking to hire a high-calibre business development professional, able to help us achieve the aggressive new business sales targets we have set.
AlphaGraphics is a reputable, strong marketing services agency. Our stable of companies includes a world-class print production and mailing unit, a creative design hub in central Newcastle, a number of ecommerce stores turning over £1.5m+ and we own a significant stake in one of the top digital marketing agencies in the UK. We’ve been around for nearly 30 years, and we boast a roster of clients that many other businesses envy.

What are we looking for?
3 years+ B2B sales experience, ideally with a print-production covering digital sheet & wide format and lithographic print.An added plus would be selling marketing or SaaS
A demonstrable track record of smashing your targets
Experience of working at all stages of the sales cycle
You don’t think cold-calling is dead, but then you don’t hide behind emails either – you’ve got a number of prospecting options in your arsenal, and you know how to use them.
The ability to work with our business development & marketing team on the creation and delivery of pitches and proposals, then the proficient hand over to our account development team, who will oversee the onboarding of clients
Your time management will be on point, and you’ll be able to use some of the latest sales enablement platforms to help speed up your sales cycle
Ideally based in the North-East, either Teesside or Newcastle – although our clients are nationwide, and we have remote teams working from London, Leicestershire and Nottingham. You’ll be comfortable to travel to client-site (obviously in line with any current government guidelines) but you’ll be as comfortable using video conferencing to get the job done.
What are we not looking for?
We don’t need another nodding-dog. This role is made for someone to come and challenge us, and our processes – just because we’ve done it like this for 20 years+ doesn’t mean we need to do it like this for the next 20. You’ll be part of a close-knit business development team who sometimes ruffle a few feathers, in order to get results.
